The insulation installation is completed!

Next up? Sheetrock.

The sheetrock, corners, mud, and tape have been ordered. We are now awaiting the confirmation from the sheetrock installers!

Once the sheetrock is installed we will need to schedule painting, interior doors, bathrooms, and counter tops. We will need to schedule volunteers to assist Tom getting these items to completion.

Thank you!

Things are moving right along! Here's another quick update!

Tom is doing a great job building the cabinets and counters for the Student Building.

Capital Insulation contacted us and they will move our installation up to tomorrow morning! As soon as that is completed, we'll get the sheetrock scheduled for delivery and get an install date for hanging, floating, tape, and texture. We already have a firm quote from the installer.

A Quick Reminder!
Once the sheetrock is installed we will need to schedule painting, interior doors, bathrooms, and counter tops. We will need to schedule volunteers to assist Tom getting these items to completion.

We are all done with inspections! The HVAC had passed previously but we were waiting on the electrical and plumbing topside rough-ins to finish. They did, and the electrical and plumbing topside rough-ins  passed inspection this morning.  Now that the electrical, plumbing, and HVAC system installation has passed inspection the insulation install has been scheduled for October the 9th.  However, they might be able to do the work sooner if they have a cancellation or any availability to do it sooner. Also, we now have firm quotes for the drywall installation and Tom will set up the delivery from McCoy's Building Supply as soon as the insulation work is completed.

The current schedule has construction of the building completing  by the beginning of November.

We're not done though!

There are additional work items to complete. There is dirt work to be done. The grounds surrounding the building need to be graded. We need to pour a concrete sidewalk from the porch and a concrete pad at the North side door entrance.

Once the sheetrock is installed we will need to schedule painting, interior doors, bathrooms, and counter tops. We will need to schedule volunteers to assist Tom getting these items to completion.

I am so grateful for all of the incredible work that has been done by our volunteers!
Thank you!
